Graham Tyson got back in touch - he was a student in 2001. He wanted a chat about managers and labels, and had a great story to tell of his progress. So I asked him to talk with my students as they were just starting their final project - to make music and promote themselves. He spoke enthusiastically and eloquently and was so supportive of them - it was a little nugget of real-world advice. He could not have put it better if I’d given him a script! He’s doing well in Europe - deal on offer. He brought in a CD - great tunes. His band is Kinky Retro.
