music bridge

I’ve stuck my head above the parapet in the Education Bridges community and asked to get involved with MusicBridge. These guy are so far ahead, so my first goal is not to do anything stupid and then learn very quickly. I’m a big fan of EdTechTalk.com which seems to be part of the Education Bridges set-up though I can’t quite make out the family tree at the moment. I listen to the EdTechTalk podcasts on the way to college Mondays and Wednesdays, and I arrive totally motivated!
Making this connection (firstly with Lee Baber) has made me consider what I want to achieve;

- webcasting (scary!) and (more) podcasting

- develop the study songs project

- develop the popular music analysis glossary wiki (except I have to find a better name)

- promote creative collaborations

- explore music business models

And then probably a host of stuff I don’t even know about yet.  Very exciting.

    I wouldn’t worry too much about webcasting. Once you get a few technical issues done… it’s just like talking :) and easier than podcasting… there’s no way to start over

    I agree with Dave. It is much easier than it seems. The community at EdTechTalk is part of Worldbridges and everyon is willing to lend a hand when anyone has questions!
