how not to ask for IT support
At the time, of course, I felt entirely justified in ranting on about the college IT policy. But as it hasn’t got me anywhere, it clearly wasn’t worth it.
For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, I was expecting learners to listen to audio online and found that (another set of) PCs had had the sound disabled. Apparently some college tutors don’t like sound on their learners’ computers. In the past, I have been told that our IT policies are set by SMT so I felt SMT should review this policy.
I should learn from POB - keep your head down, don’t get involved, work around it.
